How exactly does a Cremare pet funeral work?

Once the order has been placed, we will collect your deceased animal. We offer various collection options: We can collect your pet from your home or from the vet’s surgery or veterinary clinic. We will then take care of the transfer to our crematorium. Of course, you also have the option of bringing your pet personally to our pet crematorium or to our pet funeral parlour in your area by prior arrangement. You can also order collection from us online. Our empathetic pet undertakers will also contact you again to discuss your individual wishes, concerns and questions. We support you and are there for you when you need us.

During cremation, the animal body decomposes to ash within a weight-dependent period of time due to the effect of the heat.

This raw ash is then ground so that it can be filled into an urn or other container, such as ash jewellery. You can think of the ground ash as limestone. The animal ash can then be handled very flexibly and individually.

The animal ash can then be handled very flexibly and individually. With an individual cremation, the ashes are returned to you with the accompanying stone and the cremation certificate. In the case of collective cremation, the ashes cannot be assigned to an individual animal after cremation, so that they are not returned, but are buried with dignity on the scattering bed or in the scattering urn at the animal crematorium. You will also receive a cremation certificate from us afterwards for collective cremation.

Would you like a special urn for the ashes during a premium cremation or individual cremation? Or would you like to have a special keepsake jewellery made from your pet’s ashes or fur? Our Cremare pet undertakers will be happy to advise you on our selected range of urns and jewellery.
